Landline Starts Santa Rosa to SFO Airside Bus November 17
Landline will start "Straight to Gate" coach service from Charles M. Schulz-Sonoma County Airport (STS) in Santa Rosa to San Francisco International (SFO) on Nov 17, 2026. Fares start at $55 one way for adults; kids and infants 15 and under ride free (checked Oct 13, 2026). As of Oct 13, 2026; confirm on Landline's SFO page.
How it works
You check in and drop bags at the Landline counter or kiosks inside the Sonoma County terminal. Bag drop opens 60 minutes before departure, and Landline says to arrive at least 15 minutes before. You pass TSA screening at STS with your airline boarding pass and a TSA-approved ID (REAL ID for driver's licenses). You step off the coach at "SFO Airside" already through security, with bags checked through to your final destination (checked Oct 13, 2026).
Schedule
There are 8 departures daily from STS to SFO, the first at 5:00 AM and the last at 7:45 PM (checked Oct 13, 2026):
- 5:00 AM, arriving 7:15
- 7:00 AM, arriving 9:15
- 9:00 AM, arriving 11:15
- 10:50 AM, arriving 12:50
- 1:10 PM, arriving 3:30
- 3:00 PM, arriving 5:30
- 5:30 PM, arriving 8:00
- 7:45 PM, arriving 9:30
Travel time varies by departure, so build in your own cushion for connections. Landline notes that late arrivals are not refunded.
Onboard
Coaches have free Starlink Wi-Fi, reclining leather seats, outlets and a restroom (checked Oct 13, 2026).
Airlines
Landline's page names United, Alaska, Hawaiian, American and JetBlue as Straight to Gate airline partners. The page does not list partners specific to the Santa Rosa direction, so confirm that your airline and ticket qualify before you book.
Reported details (lead, not official)
The Points Guy reported on Oct 12 that the coach arrives at gate A3 in the International Terminal and that rides do not earn airline miles (lead: https://thepointsguy.com/news/san-francisco-airport-sfo-landline-connections-santa-rosa-sonoma/). Landline's page does not state either point, so treat them as reported.
The points angle
This is a bus, not a flight, so you should not expect miles or elite credit. The case for it is cost and time: $55 each way compared with driving to SFO and paying for parking, plus skipping the SFO security line. Do the math for your party size, since kids 15 and under ride free.
