PerkJolt
Editorial Policy
PerkJolt’s job is to give travelers accurate, useful information they can act on. These are the standards every page is held to.
Sources and fact-checking
- Practical details such as hours, fares, entry rules and hotel terms are checked against official operator, government or venue sources.
- Guides list their sources with the date each one was checked. We do not publish a guide without at least three dated official sources.
- Prices, schedules and rules change. Where something must be confirmed for your dates, we say so and link to the source.
Independence
Advertisers and affiliate partners do not review, edit or approve our content before it is published. Compensation never decides a rating or recommendation. See our advertiser disclosure.
Experience versus research
We label the difference. Trip reports describe what our correspondent personally experienced. Researched guides are built from official sources and are marked as editorial planning guides, not first-hand reports.
Updates and corrections
We revisit guides when sources change, and each page shows when it was last updated. If you spot an error, email hello@perkjolt.com and we will check it and correct the page.
Use of AI
AI tools help us research, draft and illustrate content. A reviewer checks every page against its sources before publication. Our AI and media policy explains how.
