JAL offers up to 10,000 bonus miles per U.S.-Japan segment

JAL Mileage Bank has a transpacific bonus on JAL's Americas site: 10,000 bonus miles per one-way segment in Business, 5,000 in Premium Economy and 2,500 in Economy. It applies to paid tickets booked directly on JAL's American Region website.

Registration in your JMB account must be completed before departure, and the registration window runs Sept. 29 to Dec. 31, 2026. Travel must fall between Oct. 1, 2026 and March 4, 2027. As of Oct. 16, 2026, those are the dates; confirm on the JAL page.

Routes and eligibility

Eligible routes are JFK, BOS, ORD, DFW, SEA, SFO, LAX and SAN to Tokyo, plus LAX to Osaka.

The page says the offer is for pre-selected JMB members who received the promotional message, and it is non-transferable. Not every member will qualify, so do not book around this unless you received the offer. The bonus miles do not count toward FLY ON Points, JMB tier status or Life Status points.

What to do: Check your email and JMB account for the offer. If you have it, register before you fly, book on JAL's American Region site, and keep your travel inside the March 4, 2027 cutoff. As of Oct. 16, 2026, confirm terms on the official JAL page.
