Avelo adds McKinney to Sarasota and West Palm Beach flights in December

Avelo Airlines announced on Oct 15, 2026 two new Florida routes from McKinney National Airport (DTX), north of Dallas. Service to Sarasota/Bradenton (SRQ) starts Wednesday, Dec 16, 2026, and runs Wednesday and Saturday. Service to West Palm Beach starts Thursday, Dec 17, 2026, and runs Thursday and Sunday.

The release labels the West Palm Beach airport "President Donald J. Trump International Airport (DJT)" and does not mention the PBI code; we are using the release's wording. Avelo will fly Boeing 737 Next-Generation aircraft, with three based at DTX.

Fares

Introductory fares start at $69 one way, including taxes and fees, for DTX travel from Jan 7 to Jan 31, 2027. The fare must be booked by Oct 22, 2026, and seats and days are limited, as of Oct 16, 2026; confirm on the Avelo release. The release does not say which routes the $69 fare covers, so check the fare on your date.

Avelo has no bank transfer partners, so these are cash fares only.

What to do: if the January window works for you, price both Florida routes before Oct 22 and compare against other options from Dallas. Confirm the airport code and the fare on your dates at checkout.
