Alaska Flight Deals for Delta SkyMiles Members
Delta’s flash sale is mostly over. The Seattle fare sale and the $1 and $12 Delta Comfort upgrade windows all closed Thursday, Oct 8. The part still live is the set of Alaska-origin SkyMiles Member fares, which you can book through Oct 20.
What you need to know
- Roundtrip promotional fares from Anchorage (ANC) and Fairbanks (FAI).
- Book Oct 6 through Oct 20, 2026.
- Travel Oct 17, 2026 through May 15, 2027.
- Destinations: Fort Lauderdale, Tampa, Orlando, Las Vegas, Phoenix, Palm Springs, San Diego, Tucson, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Honolulu, Kauai (LIH), Kona and Maui.
- Subject to availability. Terms and baggage fees apply.
Delta announced the offers on Oct 6 in a post on its News Hub. The fares apply to eligible itineraries that start in ANC or FAI during the promotional period. The announcement doesn’t list fare prices.
The PerkJolt angle
These are labeled “SkyMiles Member fares,” so sign in to a SkyMiles account (it’s free) before you search, and compare the price you see signed in with the public fare.
What already ended
The Seattle sale covered nearly 50 domestic nonstop destinations from SEA, including Honolulu, Maui, Kona and Lihue. Booking ran from 8:00 p.m. EDT Monday, Oct 5, through Thursday, Oct 8, for travel from late October 2026 through March 10, 2027. Blackout dates, availability limits and other restrictions applied. Promotional fares on select nonstop ANC/FAI–Seattle flights were part of the same flash sale.
The Delta Comfort upgrades also expired Oct 8. For Alaska itineraries, the upgrade cost $1 each way. For Seattle flights, the Seahawks “12s” offer started at $12 roundtrip ($6 each way). Both required a roundtrip purchase and a new revenue booking. Delta lists these Comfort perks: more legroom, Zone 3 early boarding, dedicated overhead bin space, and complimentary beer, wine and spirits for customers 21 and older on eligible flights.
One side note
Separately, on Oct 6 Delta posted an update on a “limited global technology issue” that affected data connectivity to some systems behind the scenes. Delta said systems were stabilizing and told customers to check the Delta app or delta.com for the latest flight information.
Bottom line: if you’re flying out of Alaska this winter or spring, the member fares are the only piece of this sale still open. The window closes Oct 20.
