Delta adds more flights from Boston for Patriots’ Day and spring break

Delta says it will add more than 45 round-trip flights and 6,000 seats from Boston (BOS) around Patriots' Day and spring break 2027, per a release dated October 10, 2026. The extra service runs over 10 days, with peak periods of April 16-18 and April 22-25, 2027 (as of Oct 12, 2026; confirm on news.delta.com). Delta says featured leisure routes have 15% more seats than the comparable 2026 holiday period.

Florida and the Southeast: Orlando (up to 35 weekly, including 7 extra), Fort Myers (up to 21 weekly, 7 extra), Jacksonville (up to 21 weekly, 1 extra holiday flight), Charleston and Savannah (up to 14 weekly each, 5 extra holiday flights each), Sarasota (up to 14 weekly, 7 extra), Myrtle Beach (up to 5 weekly, 3 extra), Panama City (4 extra holiday flights) and new Destin-Fort Walton Beach service with 4 holiday flights. New Orleans gets a larger aircraft on select holiday service.

Caribbean and Mexico: Aruba (up to 12 weekly, 5 extra), Cancun, Punta Cana and San Juan (up to 8 weekly each, plus an extra Saturday), Providenciales (up to 2 weekly, plus an extra Saturday) and Nassau (up to 5 weekly, now including Sundays). See our Cancun guide.
