Hotel Indigo Heads to the Thames at Hampton Wick With a 90-Room London – Kingston Hotel in 2027

IHG announced on Oct 26 that it has signed Hotel Indigo London – Kingston, a 90-key hotel in Hampton Wick in the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames, set to open in 2027. It would be the seventh Hotel Indigo in Greater London.

The details

The hotel is a conversion of Kingston Bridge House, a vacant former university accommodation building, into a mixed-use site with the hotel plus 22 residences. The owner is Westcombe Group through its Acre Hotels Collection, a new IHG partner. The release highlights river views and locally inspired design, art, and food and drink, and does not list specific facilities.

Why points travelers care

The location is about 20 minutes by train to London Waterloo and about 30 minutes by car to Heathrow, and close to Hampton Court Palace, Kew Gardens and Richmond Park. That makes it a possible quieter base outside central London for IHG One Rewards members. Award pricing has not been announced.
