Hyatt pays 1.5 bonus Aeroplan points per dollar on top of Hyatt points; register by Nov 11

Hyatt has a promotion that pays Aeroplan points on top of World of Hyatt points. You must register between Oct 14 and Nov 11, 2026, and stays must be completed after you register and between Oct 14, 2026 and Feb 14, 2027 . Dates are as of Oct 16, 2026; confirm on that page.

What you earn

You earn 1.5 bonus Aeroplan points per eligible U.S. dollar on an Eligible Rate. That is in addition to your World of Hyatt base points, which are 5 per dollar at most hotels and 2.5 at Hyatt Studios .

The catch: the election

You need free memberships in both programs, with the accounts linked and in good standing. You must also have elected Aeroplan points in place of World of Hyatt points, or elected World of Hyatt points, for the stay; the bonus does not apply if you elected another partner program. Under the partnership, members of both programs can elect 500 Aeroplan points per stay in lieu of World of Hyatt points . Read the offer terms for how that election interacts with the bonus.

Only the room you occupy counts. Bonus points do not count toward Status Qualifying Credits, and they can take up to 8 weeks after the stay to post. Hyatt can alter or withdraw the offer.

Background on the partnership

The July 15, 2026 release set World of Hyatt to Aeroplan transfers at 2:1 starting at 5,000 points. Aeroplan to Hyatt is 2:1 for Aeroplan elites only, capped at 100,000 per day and 250,000 per week. Members can also take an annual 90-day challenge to Hyatt status, needing 4, 10 or 20 nights for Discoverist, Explorist or Globalist. The release says that later in 2026, Explorists and Globalists can register for challenges toward Aeroplan Elite status . We have not opened Hyatt's status-qualifying requirements for the Aeroplan challenge, so look for them on Hyatt's offers page.

What to do: Link your accounts and register before Nov 11, 2026 if you have a Hyatt stay planned. Check which points you have elected for that stay and keep your confirmation. Confirm all terms on https://world.hyatt.com/content/gp/en/offers/aeroplan-dual-accrual.html.
