IHG signs Holiday Inn Resort Luang Prabang Naluang Hill, expected to open in 2027

IHG Hotels & Resorts announced on Oct. 19, 2026 that it has signed the Holiday Inn Resort Luang Prabang Naluang Hill, its first hotel in Luang Prabang, Laos. The resort is expected to open in 2027 .

It is planned for Naluang Hill near the UNESCO-listed Ancient Town, with 101 guestrooms, suites and villas, four food-and-beverage venues, a pool, a fitness centre, a spa and more than 500 square metres of meeting space. IHG says the Kids Stay & Eat Free programme will apply. The owner is Naluang International Resort and Hotel Limited. IHG already has two hotels in Laos, a Crowne Plaza and a Holiday Inn & Suites in Vientiane, with 471 keys.

This is a signing, not an opening: no opening month, rates or points category is given, so there is nothing to book yet (as of Oct 21, 2026; confirm on ihg.com).
