IHG’s Vignette Collection adds hotels across Greater China, including The Hari Hong Kong

IHG Hotels & Resorts announced on Oct 15, 2026 that its Vignette Collection brand has expanded across Greater China, with new hotels this year in Chengdu, Chongqing, Shanghai, Beidaihe, Qiandao Lake and Sanya, plus The Hari Hong Kong in Wan Chai .

The hotels named

The release names TFT Chongqing, THE ONE Shanghai Downtown, Shanghai Snow World Hotel, Resea Hotel Beidaihe, Palm Springs Hotel Chengdu, WM Hotel Hong Kong (Sai Kung) and The Azure Ningbo, along with The Hari Hong Kong . It does not name specific hotels for Qiandao Lake or Sanya.

The brand

Vignette Collection launched in 2021. It now has 27 open hotels in 17 countries, with 41 more in the pipeline. IHG's goal is 100 hotels within the brand's first 10 years .

Why it matters

IHG One Rewards points can be used at Vignette Collection hotels, and Chase Ultimate Rewards points transfer to IHG at 1:1. That makes these a possible award option for a China or Hong Kong trip. The release gives no award prices, so check each hotel's points rate and availability in the IHG app before planning around one.
