JetBlue Adds Free BlueFirst Upgrades for All Four Mosaic Levels in 2027
JetBlue announced on October 22, 2026 that its TrueBlue program changes on February 1, 2027, with complimentary space-available upgrades to BlueFirst, its new domestic first-class product, for members at all four Mosaic levels (checked Oct 23, 2026).
What changes for Mosaic members
- BlueFirst upgrades: Mosaic 1 through 4 members get complimentary, space-available upgrades on eligible fares, and the benefit extends to one traveling companion on the same reservation (checked Oct 23, 2026).
- Fare limits: Main Base and EvenMore Base fare choices are not eligible. BlueFirst may be offered only on select flights or dates, including intermittently, and additional restrictions apply .
- Premium Upgrade Certificates: The certificates formerly called Move to Mint can now be used for Mint or BlueFirst seats where available. Mosaic 2 members can choose one through Perks You Pick. Mosaic 3 and 4 members keep receiving them, and Mosaic 4 earns more for every 100 additional Tiles .
- Mosaic 4 gifting: Mosaic 4 members can gift Mosaic 3 status or a BlueHouse Lounge Membership .
Perks You Pick gets more flexible
Members can reselect a favorite perk at later Tile milestones instead of choosing each perk once, and have 60 days after each milestone to choose. Before reaching Mosaic, members can pick a perk for their next eligible flight: early boarding, an alcoholic beverage, priority security, bonus points or bonus Tiles .

JetBlue also lists a Tile Bonus Head Start at each level, added to the next program year's Tile count .
Premier Card extras
JetBlue's release says eligible Premier Cardmembers also get space-available upgrades on eligible fares booked with the card, and can gift Tiles or Mosaic status depending on level. Primary Premier Cardmembers reaching Mosaic 3 can select a companion-booking statement credit of up to $500, and Mosaic 4 up to $1,500 .
What to watch
The upgrades are space-available, so the real value depends on how many BlueFirst seats go unsold and how often the product operates on a given route.
