One or two nights: Choose Göreme or Uçhisar for a core-area plan, then limit the itinerary to a few nearby stops each day. Göreme favors staying within the central sightseeing and restaurant cluster; Uçhisar offers a different elevated setting and positions you near the castle and Pigeon Valley. Check road and walking access for the precise property rather than assuming either town is flat.

Three nights: Pick one base and arrange a separate outing toward the southern underground-city/Ihlara corridor.
