Nothing changes for the current tier year, which runs through March 31, 2027. The higher targets apply from the April start.
The number: 8,000 and 21,000 Tier Points for Silver and Gold from April 1, 2027.
What to do: If you are chasing status this year, the current targets stand until March 31. Budget for the higher bar if your flying starts in April. Read the full post: https://perkjolt.com/british-airways-club-2027-tier-points-silver-gold/
PARKS: National parks are fee-free on Tuesday, Oct 27
Entrance fees are waived at National Park Service sites on Theodore Roosevelt's birthday, but 2026 fee-free days apply to U.S. residents only. Camping, reservations and special use permits still cost money.
It is the seventh of eight fee-free days this year. Veterans Day, Nov 11, is the last.
The number: 1 fee-free day left after Tuesday (Nov 11).
What to do: If you are a U.S. resident near a park, check the park's page for closures and reservation rules before you go. Read the full post: https://perkjolt.com/national-parks-fee-free-day-october-27-2026/

KLM also lists its winter Curaçao schedule: nine flights a week, with more at Christmas and spring break.
The number: about 35 World Business Class seats, up from about 30.

Feature: how to read a tier-point change
When a program raises its status targets, look at three things: when the new numbers start, what counts toward them, and how close you are now. BA's change starts with the April tier year, so this year's math is unchanged. Write down your current total and the date your tier year resets, then decide whether a trip is worth planning around the new target.
